Jose Alberto Rosario Sanchez

José Alberto Rosario S. is a corporate finance expert with more than 25 years of experience in business valuation, strategic planning, financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions. He currently serves as Director of Corporate Finance at Baker Tilly Dominican Republic, where he leads M&A projects, feasibility studies, business plans and financial structuring.

Throughout his career, he has held key positions, such as Deputy Comptroller of Banco de Reservas, and has contributed to steering committees and boards of directors. His experience covers the public, financial and academic sectors, combining professional practice with solid teaching work in university institutions in the country.

At Baker Tilly, he leads the corporate finance division, offering services such as feasibility studies, business plans, M&A and project finance. He was Deputy Comptroller at Banco de Reservas, where he supervised financial statements, internal control and the development of the strategic plan. He has cross-cutting experience in the public, financial and academic sectors, and has been part of steering committees and boards of directors. In addition, he has maintained a prolonged teaching work in Dominican universities and professional training programs.

He has training in economics, finance and senior management, as well as certifications in anti-money laundering and financial regulation. He is a member of the Dominican College of Economists (CODECO).
